If you want to stay at old city BP Chiangmai City Hotel is a good choice It is about US$20 only(take note the hotel rate are difference at difference time and book thru difference internet website)
Buarawwong hotel is at intersection of Changklan and Rakaeng road or opposite of Lanna Palace hotel.
It is at Bath 590 (US$18) with Breakfast .The room is biger than the previous hotel I has introduced . Walkalong changklan road ,you can a varieties of food,from Muslim ,korean ,German ,Chinese to Seafood restaurant.The seafood restaurant is very near night Bazza or just beside Shangarila Hotel(Going to complete at the end of this year)
If you want to go tradition Thai Massage ,you just need to walk in the direction of night plaza ,the shop just opposite Empress hotel .
It costs Bath 100 per hour .You will pay bath 200 at Night Plaza is normal .

For those regular of Chiangmai or local residents ,they known the seafood restaurant Qunhehe at Anusan market at night bazza at the entrance .It was closed about one year ago because of the increase of rental .This restaurant was famous for its quality and competitive price of seafood .After its closer ,I tried once at Anisan and never back again because of its seafood price at anusan .
When I walk along Changklan road from night bazza to Empress hotel ,I found the restaurant was reopened
I enjoyed the curry crab ,raw oyster ,fried kangkong and spicy mix seafood with my friends and it only cost us about Bath 750 (US$20) .
I also got a 10 % discount card for food

Moderate quake hits Chiang Mai
(BangkokPost.com) - A moderate earthquake of 4.5 scale struck Mae Rim district of Chiang Mai around noon on Tuesday, causing panic among those in high rise buildings.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
The quake took place at 12.06pm, according to the Meteorological Department.
Today’s quake followed a tremor that took place on Monday in Mae Hong Son, measured at 4.2 on Richter scale. Its centre was reportedly on the Thai-Burma border.
But in the chiangmai city ,I can’t fell any earth quake .

When I say good hotel at Chiangmai,it means that it is worth for you to pay that amount of mony when compare with the other hotel . But the price and othe conditions of the hotel may change with time.
For a tourist class hotel,I recommand Lotus Pang Suan Kiew
At less than US$ 40 ,it has a good decorated room.It also connected with the biggest shopping certre at Chiangmai .You can shop and eat at the shopping centre.
